A fine mahogany, cerejeira veneered and mother of pearl inlaid pedestal desk, the moulded edge top inset with a central leather writing surface with a cable hole, flanked by mother of pearl inlaid fan medallions, with three frieze drawers above three further drawers to one pedestal and one short and one filing drawer to the other, the reverse with a mother of pearl inlaid modesty panel. Inspired by a George III original in the Neo-Classical style.
