De CArlo Home

For this Long Grove residence, we started with a blank canvas. The living room had white walls and an off-white carpet. The style was definitely a traditional look, but we wanted to add some pieces to bring it up to date. The clients fell in love with the grasscloth wallpaper as well as several of the furniture pieces we ended up placing in the room. The clean lines of the new sofa as well as the modern artwork really helped set the tone. We did keep some traditional undertones with the chairs and the side tables. Overall, the clients loved their new living room and what was once an unused room became their favorite place to be.

This sun room also started out with white walls. They had just purchased the two pink sofas and had the existing artwork over the fireplace but got stuck and needed some help bringing it all together. Being a sunroom, we did not want anything too heavy on the windows, so we opted for the Hunter Douglas shades and I nice light grey for the walls. We added a nice cozy rug and some extra seating as well as a nice big round cocktail table that everyone that all seats could utilize. Each piece was carefully selected for style, function, and purpose.
